We sit in a circle and call it sacred<\/p>\n
Where we wait for the time<\/p>\n
To hear our names read<\/p>\n
Our emotions will rise<\/p>\n
As we answer the call<\/p>\n
Just knowing there\u2019s pain<\/p>\n
That lives in us all.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We know we feel disjointed<\/p>\n
And we all want to BELONG<\/p>\n
We want to feel wholesome<\/p>\n
That\u2019s why we come along<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
One by one, we are called to the chair<\/p>\n
We sit in our place, and a little aware<\/p>\n
That we are all very Nervous,<\/p>\n
And we put on an act<\/p>\n
Says a voice very mild<\/p>\n
please tell me the facts<\/p>\n
What ails you child?<\/p>\n
What sets you back?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I speak of my parents<\/p>\n
And things that occurred<\/p>\n
Of pains that I carry<\/p>\n
Which are often referred<\/p>\n
To symptoms of ailments<\/p>\n
And all the other<\/p>\n
Which are frequent and often<\/p>\n
When referred to my mother<\/p>\n
Well,\u2026 let\u2019s see how to help<\/p>\n
You could still refuse<\/p>\n
But let\u2019s see where it goes<\/p>\n
So I\u2019d like you to choose<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
When you look out at those<\/p>\n
To be called on to play<\/p>\n
So, now go and select<\/p>\n
And see what they say<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I step in the circle and I walk all around<\/p>\n
I look at the faces that are all astound<\/p>\n
I take my time, for I need to know<\/p>\n
Are you the right one? Then if so,<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I\u2019d like you to be my Mother,<\/p>\n
And you to be my Dad<\/p>\n
I\u2019d like you to be my Brother<\/p>\n
And will you be, the Childhood<\/p>\n
That I never had<\/p>\n
As the session proceeds, more reps appear<\/p>\n
With looks on faces, so very sincere<\/p>\n
And in these figures, I see the pain<\/p>\n
As all this energy, flows through veins<\/p>\n
They take on roles, and play their part<\/p>\n
And the story unfolds, for me to start<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
To see where it leads, where it all began<\/p>\n
From here right back, And well past my nan<\/p>\n
From her mum and from hers, It was never said<\/p>\n
Just what occurred, with all those long dead<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Now the therapist moves, and studies the scene<\/p>\n
As it seems to unfold like a trilogy<\/p>\n
And moves around players<\/p>\n
To find what beholds,<\/p>\n
Who is missing? what\u2019s left untold?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
What\u2019s happening here?<\/p>\n
What are you feeling?<\/p>\n
I see you\u2019re disturbed<\/p>\n
What is it\u2019s meaning?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
You look so intense,<\/p>\n
and It seems overwhelming<\/p>\n
You display it with tears<\/p>\n
I see that you\u2019re hurting<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cI did wrong, I hurt them!\u201d<\/p>\n
The player blurts out<\/p>\n
\u201cI just left them all<\/p>\n
When I should have stood stout!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI abandoned my children, I left them for dead,<\/p>\n
Another mans image got into my head \u201c<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd what happens here\u201d the question is asked<\/p>\n
Of one other player representing the past<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m of the same age, and I feel it too<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve felt abandoned and left in the poo<\/p>\n
I wasn\u2019t loved, she didn\u2019t know how<\/p>\n
She just left home, not making a sound<\/p>\n
Now I\u2019m a toddler, no mother around\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I see now, why my body was aching<\/p>\n
It was never attended, no actions were taken<\/p>\n
They just buried it, inside their head<\/p>\n
And continued along, While They all just bled,<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
From the burden they carried, Which, remained unknown<\/p>\n
To all those that followed, It was passed on down<\/p>\n
In the form of an energy, on its journey within<\/p>\n
Passed, undetected, Without even a whim<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So now we come forward, and it\u2019s time to address<\/p>\n
All this confusion, and all of this mess<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve taken on energy, from troubles carried forward<\/p>\n
Where deep in my soul, it\u2019s been lodged untoward<\/p>\n
It seems obvious now, that it\u2019s where we should start<\/p>\n
To remove all this pain, from my soul, and my heart<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So here we are mum, here we are two<\/p>\n
The moment of truth, I\u2019ve carried this for you<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been with me, much longer than it should<\/p>\n
I now hand it back, in belief that it could<\/p>\n
Work towards helping me, at the very minimum<\/p>\n
To then re- establish, all equilibrium<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Please take it now, it belongs to you!<\/p>\n
The release that I seek, begins to ensue<\/p>\n
It comes in a rush, I have no control<\/p>\n
I sob and I sob, and it cleanses my soul<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I bury my head, in the lap of another<\/p>\n
That wonderful one, representing my mother<\/p>\n
I\u2019m held for a long time, and it feels so sublime<\/p>\n
I begin to recover this hurt heart of mine<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The session is finished, and it needs to be said<\/p>\n
to thank all the reps for all that they did<\/p>\n
thank you sincerely, I now feel rid<\/p>\n
of the burden I carried, that kept itself hid<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I now look to the future<\/p>\n
and think of the time<\/p>\n
when I can help nurture<\/p>\n
all the clients of mine<\/p>\n
as I engage in this work<\/p>\n
with a good understanding<\/p>\n
of the principles and tools<\/p>\n
for the client\u2019s expanding<\/p>\n

I practice it now in my working station<\/p>\n
As I listen intently with plenty of patience<\/p>\n
For some that I see, it seems hocus pocus<\/p>\n
As I sit with another and use my soft focus<\/p>\n
I see family behind them, not wanting to part<\/p>\n
And I hold equal space for them in my heart<\/p>\n

To increase my knowledge so that I can<\/p>\n
Help establish for men, a men\u2019s program.<\/p>\n

But I won\u2019t stop there, I can assure you of that<\/p>\n
I want to help children, not leave them flat,<\/p>\n
To allow them to be, kids, uninhibited<\/p>\n
Free of the trauma and un medicated.<\/p>\n
The kids are the future, they should be unscarred<\/p>\n
To become healthy adults, and tomorrows STARS<\/p>\n
